Each course worked on the life and work of a painter. This year the students could choose a painting or an object that represented the author or his work. The result was spectacular.
Our students spend a lot of time studying the techniques to be able to enter the work in depth, once they have understood the characteristics, the creation process begins. This was the distribution of each course:
1º Wassily Kandinsky, Abstract.
2nd Antonio Gaudí, modernism
3rd Roy Lichtenstein, pop art
4th Vincent Van Gogh, post-impressionism movement
5th Paul Gauguin, post-impressionism movement
6th Marc Chagall, cubism, expressionism
Kandinsky, Gaudí, Lichtenstein ...
So It's Art Week in kindergarten and elementary school
The materials, colors and textures shone more than ever from the hands of our students who knew how to capture the essence of each of the artists and reflect them in their works.
The 4th grade students also made small theatrical works of each painter, briefly recounting their life or important paintings, these works could be seen by downloading the LAYAR application.
