Hour of code
The International Week of Computer Science and Education (COMPUTER SCIENCE EDUCATION WEEK) has arrived at Gabirol.
The proposals in which our students participated with great enthusiasm were very diverse.
We attended an event at CAMPUS MADRID (GOOGLE) where the 4th grade boys interacted with the developers Dr Scratch and Makey Makey.
We invited 6th grade parents to share an hour of code and the boys created a Stars Wars video game.
The 4th grade students were able to program an animation with Scratch with their parents.

The 1st and 2nd grade children participated in a press conference in which they interviewed a computer engineer, who answered all their questions.
More visits passed through the center, a representative of the Twitter Spain team gave a conference for the students of ESO, Baccalaureate and those of the last cycle of primary.
With 2nd ESO, we did an hour of code with an application as a role-playing game in which they learned the JavaScript programming language and had a great time.
With these initiatives we bring the world of programming a little closer to our center and without a doubt we continue to grow in this field.
Thank you very much to everyone who has been involved !!!
