The European Week of the "Makers" which is translated into Spanish as Makers, includes a set of practical workshops for school students and informative courses for teachers or educators, conferences and talks on innovative projects carried out by teachers and students, project exhibitions and programs, meetings with the business world and local institutions.

 

The 5th grade students have participated in this “European maker week”.

 

  How is maker culture linked in education?

The first and most important step in introducing this immersive learning philosophy is the combination of  science and technology in all school activities in a continuous work on the part of the students.

 

The event included interactive workshops on:

 

  • Programming.

  • Creative Visual Media Capabilities.

  • Robotics

  • Internet of Things and Arduino.

  • 3d print.

  • 2D 3D scanner
