Each year, The Assembly lights six candles in memory of the Holocaust

Commemoration of January 27, 1945

The Madrid Assembly has lit six candles in memory of the holocaust for those killed in the Nazi death camps during an act on January 27,  in commemoration of January 27, 1945  date on  that the doors of the Auschwitz death camp were opened.

We, as a Jewish school, the only one in Madrid, are active participants in this, and all the events in Memory of the Victims of the Holocaust.
