Some of the Projects and Contests
In addition to specific activities organized at the Center (round table of professionals, the news reported every morning, partner by one day ...), we place special emphasis on project work in all areas. In this way, we seek experiential and motivating learning for students. Every project must be an experience of knowledge, through some means, whose key is the realization of a final product that is exposed to other students or the entire School Community.
In addition to acquiring knowledge, students learn to argue, listen to the other, negotiate, do, to assign responsibilities, share, present, use your creativity, to be competitive in a healthy and responsible way and to evaluate.
JANUKIADOT
During the month of Kislev, it is tradition in our school to celebrate the Janukiadot.

In this program, students go through all stages of the development of a project, from exploring their environment, generating the idea and obtaining financing, to presenting and marketing their projects. Ways to find solutions for their environment and how to improve the world we have are worked on.
Robotics Program and Programming
From Infant 3 to Baccalaureate, our students participate in a Robotics and Programming Program in which they become familiar with new technologies by learning programming languages through SCRATCH designed by MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and LEGO NXT .
Students of all stages carry out various activities with the aim of bringing them closer to the world of computer programming, proposing in a playful way that they solve different challenges and developing their motivation and skills in the use of new technologies.
Mobile Devices Project
Our 5th and 6th grade students work with mobile devices in the classroom with the aim of becoming the protagonists of their own learning.
With the iPad one-to-one Project, Students use this educational tool that allows them to access more information while developing skills and critical and creative thinking.
Jewish character
Every year the school places special relevance on one of the most important figures in Jewish culture. These characters have contributed great knowledge to all humanity, crossing the boundaries of time.
Students delve into the study and evolution of these emblematic characters of Jewish culture to make various exhibitions throughout the course that culminates in a presentation to the entire School Community.
English Week
All courses in primary education are immersed for one week in "English Week". Through different authors of children's literature we immerse ourselves in the English language with a fresh combination of theory and theater.
The culmination of this project is a great theater presentation and exhibition of interactive games performed by the students. We all enjoy interacting with the English language!
book Fair
We have structured a Reading Plan from kindergarten to high school. This is articulated through experiences and meaningful learning workshops that go beyond the stories told in the books.
Within this framework is the Book Fair.
For a week the library opens its doors to the entire School Community to tell and teach stories, but also to create new ones through the discovery of their own creativity.
The week is aimed at fostering imaginative capacity when it comes to recreating stories, both by reading them and by telling or writing them.
Mathematical Conference
During one day, but in a very intense way, the whole school delves into mathematics in a competition with different objectives. We see mathematics from different perspectives, the most logical, mathematics for life, calculus, mathematics in history, its relationship with technology, etc.
The objective is to motivate students to suggestive mathematics that constitute a personal and group challenge.
The day has different phases: group, individual and specific phase of training (workshops, conferences, etc.), where all students and teachers learn. Students compete throughout the day in teams mixed by cycles and stages. An enjoyment for mathematicians and not so mathematicians.
Shoah Project (Holocaust)
Every year the students of the school, and especially the 3rd and 4th of the ESO, prepare and star in an exhibition on The Shoah (Holocaust) focused on a character or country of reference.
In this exhibition, one of the most relevant components is the possibility of inviting groups of adolescents from schools and HEIs with whom to exchange information and educate adolescents in the values that La Shoá transmit.
Shorashim project
Every year, 2nd year ESO students participate in the Beit Museum International Competition Hatfutsot, "Avodat Shorashim", Our roots.
It is a project that takes place throughout the course in the subject of Judaism, and in which each family makes a memorable trip to their roots around a character in their family chosen by them.
Through family stories and objects, our students manage to dust off that common bond that will allow them to look forward with the confidence and security of a story that has been elaborated by each of their ancestors, as well as transmit their legacy, make our own prevail. customs, our history and our principles.
The best works are chosen to represent our school in Israel, where we have received first prizes and honorable mentions.
Janukiadot Project
"Because a luminary is the precept and the law is light"
(Proverbs 6:43)
During the month of Kislev, it is tradition in our school to celebrate the Janukiadot.
The Carmel , Galil and Kineret teams perform cultural and sports competitions in which they participate all students from Infant to Baccalaureate.
The Janukiadot are organized by 4th year ESO students, who are leaders and often perform the coordination work, of all stages and their respective teams during the previous weeks.
The students of each team prepared their anthems, posters and flags independently and independently. We light our Hanukkah every day of the festival and we all enjoy of some delicacies ... especially the Sufganiot !; these are prepared by the mothers of the students and the AMPA of the school.
